Robin coughed. "Oh jeez, why me? Why do I have to sweep?" Robin thought to herself. She held a broom in her hand and a dust pan laid on the floor. Yes it was her turn to sweep, which she hated very much. The last person who sweeped probably didn't do it or didn't do a very good job because it was really bad. She gripped it with both hands and sighed. The dirt and dust in the air still could be seen. Robin tighten her red ribbon. "Oh well, better just get this done," she said to herself. She wore a simple light brown dress and a apron on top of it. She began sweeping moving the the broom back and worth. She moved the dust and dirt into a pile. Awhile in her chore she began lost in thought.
She was a witch. Been a few days since she admitted this to herself. She had founded out a lot about them too in those few days. Robin thought still didn't know much on controlling her powers. Since that one day she gave into them she found them harder to control then before. She sighed, but it seemed less things occurred around her though. There was also something else that bothered her a rumor of sorts. There was a rumor that there was something wrong with Dagan. She didn't know the details and hadn't seen any Helsing for awhile. She sighed sadly and toke a deep breath. her eyes widen when she taken in some dust. She began to cough again. "Awww! I hate sweeping!" She said angrily. She was now mad. Didn't take much to get her flustered.

"And from the dust that's flying into the air, sweeping doesn't like you either."
The voice was friendly and holding a teasing tone. Velkan stood with his shoulder resting against one of the walls, his black silk shirt pulled tight over his chest, and his arms didn't help the fact since they were crossed over said chest. He grinned at Robin and shook his head, his boot clad feet crossing in the same manor to match his arms. He had been watching her for a bit and only just now wanted to reveal his presence.
As he gazed at the young maid, Velkan wondered if she knew about Dagan, and what had happened in this household. All the Helsing members and the staff, excluding Robin and Dagan, knew that Robin had a large crush on the oldest sibling, and if the poor girl knew what had happened, her poor heart might be broken.

Robin was taken back when she heard a teasing yet friendly voice. She turned to see a oh so familiar figure on the wall. "Velkan?" she said. She couldn't help but smile now. Like the other Helsings children Velkan was a childhood friend of Robin's and he was the closest to her in age being that there was only one year difference between them. She looked at him up and down. He seemed to be alright. She hadn't seen him in awhile. She heard he been back for awhile and stuff, but she just couldn't seem to find him. "Velkan!" Robin said happily as she attacked him in a hug. What could be said? She would have hugged any friend she felt she hadn't seen in a hundred years.
She then let go of him and her expression changed from happy to irritated in a blink of in eye. She curled her hands in a fist and punched him on the shoulder. "You're a jerk! Not talking to me in ages! Are avoiding me much these days?" Robin said putting her hands on her hips. She wasn't really angry, just a little ticked that when she tried to find him to see if he was alright she actually couldn't find him. Probably was being chased by girls. Girls seemed to have this thing for him, probably because of his charms and good looks.
She sighed. "Sorry, I have been moody today," Robin said apologizing.

Velkan had wrapped his arms around the girl when she slaughtered him with a hug, and he laughed at that. Then his laughter died as she pulled out of his arms and hit him. Rubbing the offended area of his shoulder, he looked her up and down.
"I didn't forget about you pup! So don't fret so much!"
He teased her lightly, grabbing a hold of her chin in the opposite had then the one rubbing his arm.
"You didn't worry about me now did you?"
He was going to add on about it might irritating Dagan if it were true, but he stopped himself, since he didn't know if Robin knew what had happened. It was a painful subject, and still struck a raw spot in both his chest and throat, and he didn't want to put the girl in the same situation of pain.

Robin folded her arms. Of course she worried about him. She always worried about any of the Helsings when she hadn't seen them in awhile. She knew they could take care of themselves better then anyone, but something could always happen she knew this very well. She could veyr well end up being the one to hurt them is she didn't learn to control her powers. Robin kept that last depressing thought to herself.
"Yes I did," Robin said in a 'matter of fact' way. "You can't blame me either for it," Robin told him. Anyone as close to the Helsing children like her would worry too when they havn't seen them in awhile. She looked at the pile of dust. "One second," she said. She toke the broom and pan and swept the remainder of the dust into the pan and sat the pan and brrom against the wall. That was most of the dust anyway. "Okay done," Robin told Velkan.

"Now why would I blame you for that? It's nice to know a women was carrying about me since I've been gone."
Velkan teased lightly, chucking Robin lightly under her chin. It was great to be home, to be with the family that was so understanding and the friends that actually cared when you were away.
He watched as Robin cleaned up the dust and placed the broom and pan to the side.
"What have you been up to, luv?"
